22Bet Review – Read our Bookmaker Rating in 5 Mins.
Welcome to your 22Bet review where we will try and establish our 22Bet rating so that you can see whether or not you should sign up to this sports betting site. We’ve taken a quick look at some of the other 22Bet reviews out there that seem to be fairly mixed, so we’ve decided to carry out our own 22Bet sportsbook review so that you can get a good idea of what you will get if you signed up to their services.
In order to work out where 22Bet sit in our list of the best online bookmakers, we tried to find out some background information about the bookie. However, it seems that there is remarkably little information about bookmaker online, and whilst the main site appears to be in Russian, it does offer multi-language support for a wide variety of languages.
The bookmaker look like they have been in existence since 2007 which could be why there might be relatively little information about the bookie. So is 22Bet safe? That’s the central question that we will be asking in our 22Bet review, and we will carry out a betting odds comparison and check out the brand’s licensing so that you can see whether you should investigate 22Bet further.
The result of the OpenOdds 22Bet review
We found the initial results of our 22Bet sportsbook review to be fairly conflicting. Whilst the brand have put on an interesting 22Bet bonus and seem to offer competitive odds on a wide variety of sports, there was an alarming lack of information about how the brand are licensed.
So is 22Bet safe for sports betting? We would always recommend that you steer clear of bookies who operate without a license as it’s not only illegal but it means that you get nothing in regards to customer protection. In order to fully work out whether 22Bet is legitimate, we are going to have to establish a 22Bet rating for a variety of factors that range from payment methods to customer support facilities. So read our full 22Bet review and see whether or not you should sign up to this new online betting site.

22Bet: OpenOdds 10 Review Categories Comprehensive Rating Report Concerning This Top Bookmaker
All bookmakers thoroughly tested by the OpenOdds team, must prove themselves in the following 10 review categories, even 22Bet!
01. Bonuses: €50 in extra bets for new customers
It’s fairly common to find that an online bookmaker will include a welcome bonus in order to encourage potential punters to sign up to their betting service. 22Bet have put on a sign up offer that is similar to many kinds of sports betting bonus out there, and so we will take a look at the deal and see if it’s worth signing up for.
If you are registering a brand new account with 22Bet, then the bookie are willing to give you a 122% bonus on your first deposit up to a maximum of €50. This can be used for sports betting or casino gaming at the site. If you use it for your sports bets, you will need to wager the bonus no less than five times on sport accumulator bets with three selections with odds of 1.40 or higher within one week to be able to withdraw your winnings. Whereas if you use the bonus for casino gaming, you will have to roll over the bonus 50 times within a week. In addition to this, the welcome bonus also gives you 22 bet points that will instantly be credited to your account.
Before we establish a rating for this bonus and compare it to the best free bet offers, we should mention that the brand also include a nice second deposit bonus. This will match your second deposit bonus by 22% up to €50 and it will give you another 22 bet points to play with. In order to claim either of these bonuses, you will need to deposit at least €1, and if you make an accumulator bet, then the bet must contain at least three selections with odds of 1.40 or higher. Terms and conditions apply, 18+.
02. Customer Service: Email customer support options only
Whether you need help in setting up your 22Bet account, or are seeking advice on whether there is a 22Bet app, then you might need to contact the brand directly. Whilst the majority of online bookmakers will give their customers some useful live chat or even telephone hotline options, it seems that 22Bet are keeping it simple with just an email form that can be used for reaching a 22Bet customer service representative.
This might be a little disappointing and won’t help the brand get any more decent 22Bet reviews, but we should state that 22bet pledge to answer all email queries within 24 hours. But whilst the lack of live chat might be forgivable, we were also let down by the fact that 22Bet didn’t appear to include any kind of help section or FAQ area. So if you need any assistance with using the 22Bet site, then you might have to wait an entire day before you get any kind of response.
03. Sports Covered: Good selection of sports bets
Thankfully, our review has found that 22Bet offers no shortage of choice when it comes to making sports bets. Whether you are wagering on Premier League football or prefer to bet on the Wimbledon tennis tournament, you should be able to pick and choose from the wide variety of betting markets in order to make the most of your betting strategies.
It’s not only the most popular sports like tennis, horse racing, football, ice hockey and basketball that are featured at the 22Bet site, as the brand cover plenty of niche sport betting options too. This means that you can wager on anything from biathlon to ski jumping and beach soccer here. Plus 22Bet also has an excellent selection of esports betting options that are sure to be a big hit amongst all gamers out there.
04. Payment Methods: Massive selection of payment options
22Bet are clearly keen to make a big impression on the global sports betting scene, as they not only feature multi-language support but they offer a vast array of location-specific payment methods. If you take a look at the 22Bet deposit and withdrawal options, then you will be overwhelmed by the choice that includes respected credit and debit brands like Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, e-wallets like Neteller, prepaid cards such as Paysafecard, and you can use a vast amount of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin too.
Most punters will probably use a credit or debit card to add funds to their 22Bet account, and there aren’t any charges for adding an instant deposit, and you can make a deposit from €1 upwards. These deposit limits and fees are also applicable for other payment methods like Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard.
When it comes to withdrawing money from 22Bet, you should be able to make free withdrawals from a minimum of €1, and whilst it can take up to seven days to see the money in your account if you make a debit card withdrawal, it should just take 15 minutes for e-wallet users.
05. Security: Little evidence of official licensing
We were slightly alarmed to find that 22Bet have failed to give us any evidence of having any kind of official licensing or regulation. Whilst the majority of decent betting sites are more than happy to display their relevant licensing from the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority, either 22Bet have overlooked this important feature, or they are operating without a license.
Whilst this doesn’t automatically mean that your personal details or deposits are at risk at 22Bet, we would always recommend that you only place bets with a fully licensed bookmaker. So until 22Bet make more of an effort to display their relevant gambling license, we cannot really recommend this betting site.
06. Betting Odds: Decent range of competitive odds
Our review found that 22Bet have managed to nearly match some of the biggest bookmakers in the business with their betting odds. We carried out a very quick odds comparison test for the England versus Belgium football match at the 2018 World Cup and saw that 22Bet put on odds of 2.5 for an England win that were the same as what you’d get from established bookies like Ladbrokes, Sporting Bet and Coral.
Whilst some bookmakers like Betfair, Betway and Sun Bets were able to offer marginally better value bets, it was still an impressive performance from 22Bet and it shows just how ambitious this brand are at matching the competition in the fiercely competitive online sportsbook scene.
07. User-friendliness: No betting apps but reasonable website
If you load up the 22Bet website, then you’ll see a user interface that’s reasonably similar to that of all major bookmaker websites. So expect to see the usual list of sports categories, betting highlights and all of the relevant promotions.
The website was fairly easy to use although it was sometimes tricky to find your chosen sporting event. And whilst the 22Bet worked fine on a mobile device, it would have been nice if 22Bet had made a dedicated betting app for smartphones or tablets.
08. In-play Product: Plenty of in-play bets here
22Bet featured a wide range of live betting options that take in sports that range from football and tennis to basketball and volleyball. Each sporting event came up with a good amount of in-play betting options that gave you much more choice than just placing a standard match winner bet.
Whilst there weren’t any live streaming options, we were impressed with the handy graphic visualisation tool as well as the constantly updated live statistics that gave us plenty of helpful insight into making our in-play bets.
09. Other Products: Slots and live casino games
The 22Bet website also includes a decent casino gaming section that has plenty of slots and table games to enjoy. From quick and easy slots gaming titles like Football Superstar, Child of Wealth and Fruit Warp, to some great live casino options from brands like Evolution Gaming, there’s plenty to discover whilst you wait for the next big sports bet.
In addition to this, 22Bet also have some interesting virtual sports betting options that can offer a fun way to wager on simulations of sports like football and motor racing so that you can sharpen up your betting skills.
10. Betting Limits: Very flexible betting limits
We were glad to find that 22Bet had clearly defined their maximum and minimum betting limits in the terms and conditions section of their website. There will surely be many newcomers to sports betting who will be happy to know that they can make bets from as little as €0.20 at the bookie’s site.
In addition to this, there will be many ambitious sports betting fans who will be delighted to find that 22Bet have very high betting limits that state that you can win up to €600,000 with a single sports bet at the website.
Our Verdict of 22bet:22Bet
22Bet are clearly a betting site with big ambitions. Not only do they feature multi-language support and a massive amount of payment methods, but their welcome bonus is pretty generous and their betting odds just about hold up to some serious heavyweights in the sports betting scene.
However, there were a few important issues to overcome before we can truly recommend 22Bet for your sports bets. Not only was there a lack of contact information about the brand, but the fact that 22Bet failed to adequately display any kinds of licensing means that you should probably take your sports betting elsewhere until they have resolved this important issue.
