Everton at Bournemouth has become the Premier League’s third-highest scoring fixture in recent years, so spectators could be in for a few goals this Sunday at the Vitality Stadium. The Cherries have never lost to Everton at home in their total of four Premier League fixtures played at the Vitality Stadium, so Eddie Howe’s team will be feeling confident ahead of this game.
The Toffees will also feel pretty confident about playing on a Sunday, though. In the calendar year of 2019, Everton have not lost a Sunday fixture, having played seven times. They have won five of those games and drawn two. The Cherries, in contrast, have played three times on a Sunday in 2019 and lost all three times.
Bournemouth vs Everton Prediction: Cherries 2-2 Toffees
Our prediction for this game is that it will follow the template of previous Premier League encounters between these teams and be full of goals. We also expect Everton’s positive record in Sunday fixtures to carry on. We have predicted a 2-2 outcome for the game, which should offer plenty of excitement for the fans in the ground as well as the Sky Sports TV viewers. Everton won 3-2 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, and we expect their strong goalscoring form to continue. Bournemouth’s home advantage will just about keep them from defeat , though it will be a tough game for Howe’s men.
Our recommended tip: Draw, both score
Our featured tip for this game comes from Betway, who are offering appealing odds of 16/5 on the game being a draw where both teams score. This game has been a high-scoring fixture in recent seasons in the Premier League, and we think that that pattern is set to continue. It is also quite hard to pick a winner in this game, though, given Bournemouth’s strong record at home to the Toffees. Everton do tend to lose games on a Sunday, though, so we think that matters are going to end up all square. Odds of 16/5 offer good value too.
Bournemouth and Everton have met on a total of eight occasions in the Premier League to date. Everton have won four of those games and Bournemouth have won two. There have been two draws. The Cherries have won two games at the Vitality Stadium against Everton and also drawn twice at home. All four of Everton’s wins have come at Goodison Park and they have never won at the Vitality.
Last season, the game at the Vitality Stadium ended in a 2-2 draw in December. The second Premier League meeting, at Goodison Park, which took place in January, ended in a 2-0 victory for the Toffees.

Players to watch: Harry Wilson & Richarlison
Cherries attacking midfielder Harry Wilson has netted two goals in his three Premier League appearances so far this season. The creative Welsh attacker, who spent last season on loan in the Championship with Derby County, is a real livewire creator in attack, and the Toffees midfield and defence will need to make plans for the Wales international. He has passed the ball 56 times this season and created one big chance for his team-mates.
Brazilian striker Richarlison has scored two goals in his four Premier League appearances so far in 2019/20, which makes him Everton’s current top league scorer. One of those goals has come from a header and one has been scored with his left foot, which may give a hint to defenders. He has hit 10 shots so far this season, three of which have been on target. He has also crossed the ball 10 times for his team-mates but is yet to weigh in with an assist.
