In-form Arsenal will look to continue their winning run this Sunday, when they travel across London to face Fulham at Craven Cottage. Unai Emery’s Gunners have now won five league games in a row, which is a direct contrast to the form of their hosts. The Cottagers have not won in their last fou league games, despite some wins in the Carabao Cup. Fulham head coach Slavisa Jokanovic has stated to the media this week that his team’s poor form cannot continue. He wants his team to be tighter in defence, and also to play with more speed and aggression.
Arsenal won 3-0 in the Europa League at Qarabag in Azerbaijan in midweek. The line-up for Sunday’s game looks likely to be very different from the team that won that game, though. Aaron Ramsey could return to action, as could Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Fulham vs Arsenal Prediction: Fulham 0-2 Arsenal
Unai Emery’s Arsenal team is already looking like a vastly different beast to the stuttering and stumbling team from Arsene Wenger’s last season in charge. They have swept aside all opposition in their last five league games, and Fulham do not look like a side who have enough depth or quality to trouble the Gunners, even at home.
Our prediction is that the Gunners will win this game in pretty convincing style, with a two-goal winning margin looking likely. Fulham do not have history on their side, either. The west Londoners have won just three of their 26 Premier League meetings with Arsenal.
Our recommended tip: Arsenal win 2-0
Our featured betting tip for this game comes from Betway. They are offering odds of 9/1 on our prediction of a 2-0 win for the away team. Those odds offer significant reward for a scoreline that is well within the bounds of possibility for this game. Fulham have struggled to keep clean sheets this season, while Arsenal, with players like Alexandre Lacazette, Mseut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey, have plenty of creative talent in their squad. That means that this is likely to be something of an uphill battle for the home side, but home advantage will probably prevent a complete thrashing.
Previous matches
These two sides have played each other on 26 previous occasions in the Premier League. Arsenal have won 18 of those meetings, Fulham have won three, and there have been five draws. All of Fulham’s Premier League victories against the Gunners have come at Craven Cottage.
The last meeting between the two sides in the Premier League was in January 214, at the Gunners’ Emirates Stadium. The home side won the game 2-0, with both of the goals coming from Santi Carzola. Earlier that season, the Gunners won 3-1 at Craven Cottage. Lukas Podolski scored twice in that game.

Players to watch: Aleksandar Mitrovic & Alexandre Lacazette
Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic already has five Premier League goals in seven games to his credit this season, a good record for a player in a team which is currently struggling at the wrong end of the table. The Serb is a charismatic player who is a strong favourite with the fans after his efforts last season in helping the Cottagers win promotion. He will be the main threat to the Arsenal defence on Sunday.
Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette supplied Mesut Ozil with the assist for the Gunners’ second goal last weekend in the 2-0 win over Watford. That meant that he has been provided six assists and 16 goals for the club since the start of last season. Arsenal have been winning games while not playing particularly well this season, with Lacazette often supplying the moment of magic needed to unlock a close game. Gunners fans will hope for more this Sunday.
