Ashley Hughes – Managing Editor
Ashley Hughes has lead an extensive career in sports betting, partnering up with many of the staple high street bookmakers throughout his 20+ years in the industry as a writer, editor and eventually managing editor. Ashley has an almost unhealthy obsession with niche sports such as baseball, ice hockey and cricket and travels to the States regularly to support his life-long favourites the New York Yankees. Nowadays you’ll find him leading his team of talented editors and writers on the hunt for the latest scoop, or watching baseball. Either one.
Jamie Clark – Sports Editor
Jamie Clark is one of the editors behind OpenOdds. A great lover of sport, in particular horse racing and athletics which dominated his youth, he has worked for many of the leading players in the betting industry. Down the years, he has covered everything from the London Olympics to Rugby World Cup, Ashes cricket and Wimbledon tennis, the World Snooker Championship and countless horse racing festivals. Jamie is also a long-suffering Crystal Palace supporter who used to report on English football matches — poor Jamie.
Ruth Battersby – Content Editor
Ruth Battersby is arguably our most popular editor here at OpenOdds and is renowned for pranking her fellow colleagues. Her most infamous prank presumably took inspiration from The Office after she placed a model-sized figurine of Managing Editor Ashley Hughes’ favourite Yankees player Luke Voit in jelly. Sadly, she also dances like David Brent at company events. When not causing mischief, you’ll find her leading a team of copywriters who are responsible for producing the in-depth bookmaker reviews OpenOdds has become famous for.
