Ran a cracker when fourth, and beaten 11 1/2 lengths, in the 2018 Grand National won by Tiger Roll. Stamina is not in doubt.

His handicap rating in this year’s renewal is 164 – 5lb higher than 12 months ago. Following his second in last month’s Grade 1 Cheltenham Gold Cup, his official mark has been raised to 172. He is therefore 8lb well-in for this year’s running.

Anibale Fly also ran well when finishing third behind Native River in the 2018 Cheltenham Gold Cup and is a class act who stays well. He carries top weight and the last horse to successfully do that in the Grand National was Aintree legend Red Rum.
