Successful twice in Listed handicaps over 3m at Ascot, taking Silver Cup in December 2016 and Keltbray Swinley Chase in February 2018.

Regal Encore was far from disgraced when eighth in 2017 Grand National, and he also ran well when third in valuable Grade 3 Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury later the same year.

His best effort this season came when third when attempting repeat victory in the Keltbray Swinley Chase when back at Ascot.

Smart bumper performer who finished a seven-length second in the Grade 1 Weatherbys Champion Bumper at the 2013 Cheltenham Festival.

Regal Encore is not adverse to clouting a fence or two, so will do well to fare better than his previous attempt in 2017. His odds reflect his chances and on all known form faces an uphill task to get any place prize money.
