Marko Arnautovic anytime scorer odds look a value bet in the Poland v Austria Euro 2020 qualifier on Monday.
The former West Ham United forward has bagged three braces in qualifying so far. They include in his last two away caps and also this past Friday at home to Latvia.
Arnautovic is bang in-form for Austria, then. He is a cut above the Chinese Super League where he plays his club football and proving it for the national team.
Although Austria lost their first Euro 2020 qualifiers, they are back in contention in Group G. As he’s scored six of their 13 goals in qualifying to date, Arnautovic is a big reason for that revival.
If Austria do make the Euro 2020 finals, then he will have had a huge hand in it. This away day in Warsaw is one of the toughest tests so far, though.
Arnautovic anytime scorer odds great value based on recent form
With Anautovic now a talisman for Austria, he’s the clear danger man. No Polish player has more than half his goal tally of six in qualifying to date.
That makes Aranutovic anytime scorer odds of 2/1 with Bethard very tempting indeed. Austria still trail Poland in this pool by three points, so must take the game to them.
In Arnautovic, they have the perfect forward to do just that. Try as they might to make like tough for him, he has the ability and movement to cause that Polish defence plenty of problems.
Arnautovic is also hugely overpriced in relation to opposition counterpart Robert Lewandowski. The usually prolific Pole has only struck twice in qualifying so far and that is well below his high standards.
At the odds on offer, Arnautovic thus appeals in a game where the onus is on Austria. His blistering international – six in his last four – makes him well worth chancing here.
Bet of the Day: 2/1 with Bethard, Marko Arnautovic anytime scorer in the Poland v Austria Euro 2020 qualifier.
